Inserts are the absorbent part of any Cloth Diaper. They are usually made of fabrics like Microfiber, Charcoal Bamboo, Bamboo, Terry, Bamboo Cotton or Bamboo Terry. Each of these fabrics have their own threshold of absorbency that in turn depends on the type of fabric used and total number of layers of the fabric.
Cloth Diaper Liners or simply Liners are the stay-dry absorbent layer used as the top most layer in any cloth diaper. They are basically used to achieve stay-dry feel in any non-stay-dry cloth diaper and for the ease of catching the poop.
They come in reusable as well as disposable forms while the former is an economical option, the latter is handy during travel out outdoor hours with your baby.
